Yachad. Because Everyone Belongs.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, work, connect, and find their place in Jewish life.
Yachad creates social, vocational, and educational opportunities that enrich the lives of Jewish individuals with disabilities and their families, foster belonging, and deepen their connection to Judaism. From education and employment to friendships, summer experiences, and year-round community programs, Yachad helps make belonging part of everyday life at every stage.
Yachad New York offers programs practically every day of the week across its Brooklyn, Long Island/Queens, Monsey, Manhattan, and Westchester/Riverdale sites. From local activities to Shabbatons, participants build friendships, families find support, and volunteers and coordinators contribute to a stronger community. Clubs at 15 high schools teach inclusion and develop future leaders. JUF in Brooklyn and the Five Towns offers day programming, life skills classes, and job placement for adults 21 and older. Together, these opportunities strengthen relationships across schools, shuls, and neighborhoods, enriching our whole community.
When individuals have opportunities to participate, contribute, and thrive, our entire community is stronger.
Your gift helps Yachad create more opportunities, more connections, and more places to belong.
