Let’s Make a Difference B’Yachad!

In 2021, despite the challenges facing the greater world as a result of shutdowns, Yachad's innovative programs kept going, giving participants and their caregivers the support and inspiration, they needed.

As leaders of programming for individuals with disabilities, Yachad continued to lead through innovations such as Yachad on Demand, Backyard Buddy Program, and despite the challenges endured by Covid Yachad New Jersey reopened their doors to the Mendel Balk Yachad Center, Sunday Social and our Bergen County Shabbat Program.

As we look towards our future – both in the immediate, and in the long-term – we have so much more we want to do and provide to the individuals with disabilities we serve at Yachad. But we urgently need your help to:

Provide essential services like programming to individuals with disabilities
Run support groups, such as parent and sibling support groups
Supply the technology needed for us to begin a new photography program
Virtually empower teens and adults in sensitivity trainings
Help bring back Shabbatonim, camps and other special events Yachad is known for!

But, as always, your help is needed. We have so much more we want to accomplish and provide for the community.
