In 1983, Yachad began, aiming to fill a void in the Jewish world. A space was desperately needed for those with disabilities to be able to experience Jewish life and community to their fullest. Looking back, 36 years later, we’ve achieved that, and so much more. From vocational training and job placements, to schools, to our ever-expanding summer programs and Shabbatonim, we’ve changed countless lives, families, and communities for the better.

Our work however is never done. We want to do more, reach more people, expand to more locations, offer more programming and services. And we can’t do it without you.

Because of your friendship and support, this past year alone we have hosted 10 Shabbatons (weekend retreats), weekly inclusive programs, a family Shabbaton for over 300 people, partnered with many schools and communities for weekly programs and more. This past year, with your support, we launched the world’s first Inclusive Board Game Café on Emek Refaim Street in Jerusalem.
