Come and join me for a moment and share the memories of Summer- fresh air, a change of pace, tons of fun, new skills and friendships. It has been my honor and privilege for over 27 years to help our Yachad participants experience summer the way I remember it as a child, young adult and then as a staff member. With a broad range of summer programs that span many ages and abilities, Yachad provides over 500 individuals with the opportunity to experience a summer program! It is a personal thrill when parents and participants tell me what a wonderful summer it was and how much the particular program allowed them to gain and grow.

However, the cost of camp is overwhelming to many of our families. Over 60% of our parents rely on some type of outside funding in order for their child to attend camp! That is why we are dedicating our Upreaching day towards Yachad Summer Scholarship- an opportunity to make camp possible for those who can't do it without the support.
