In 1983, Yachad began, aiming to fill a void in the Jewish world. A space was desperately needed for those with disabilities to be able to experience Jewish life and community to their fullest. Looking back, 36 years later, we’ve achieved that, and so much more. From vocational training and job placements, to schools, to our ever-expanding summer programs and Shabbatonim, we’ve changed countless lives, families, and communities for the better.

Our work however is never done. We want to do more, reach more people, expand to more locations, offer more programming and services. And we can’t do it without you.

Because of your friendship and support, this past year we have hosted Shabbatons (weekend retreats), inclusion clubs & activities, sensitivity training for mainstream peers, teacher training for over 150 Florida educators, and programing for families. We have impacted the South Florida Jewish community, but there is much more work to be done. Partner with Yachad Florida and help us grow!
