OU-JLIC is thriving at NYU, but we need your help!
With the help and guidance of OU-JLIC, the Jewish students of NYU, Cooper Union, Baruch, Hunter, and others have come together to rejuvenate downtown NYC after COVID, and create a new and truly special environment downtown. From weekly shiurim to social events, from selichot to a truly epic Purim, we have worked with the students to create an amazing community that makes frum students downtown feel connected to their Judaism and to each other.
Shabbat is a mainstay of our community, with the entire community sharing meals, davening, shiurim, and fun. That's where we need your help! Due to unforeseen circumstances, our previous source of Shabbat funding is not going to able to help us this year, and our budget is all of a sudden down to zero! We are running this campaign to raise the necessary funds to continue having Shabbat on campus. Every dollar raised will go directly towards downtown students via kosher food costs, space rentals to daven and host meals, and other Shabbat and holiday programming. These funds are critical to making it happen this year. If we don't raise this money before the semester starts, we won't have funds for Shabbat and Yom Tov meals this year. In particular, as we head into the Yamim Noraim, we would like to be able to have davening and meals together to start the year off strong!
Your support is what makes OU-JLIC at NYU possible. Partner with us today to directly impact the lives of hundreds of Jewish students on campus! Your generosity will support the continued strength of the JLIC program at NYU.
