A Year of Connection, Growth, and Community
This year was an especially exciting one for the alumni of JLIC.
Through Shabbos and holiday meals, BBQs, Glow-in-the-Dark Paint Nights, and so much more, our alumni program continues to be an important and integral part of the JLIC community. This year, we not only hosted BBQs in New York and New Jersey, but also took our show on the road, hosting a special BBQ for our Florida alumni in Boca Raton at Smash House. This year we hope to get to Israel, so stay tuned!
Whether gathering in our homes or coming together as a community, it is always heartwarming to see our alumni connect, and witness how much they have grown over the years.
The annual auction was one of the most spectacular yet, bringing together 25 years of alumni and current students togther. It was incredible to see so many people come together to support the future of JLIC in Brooklyn. The evening was a powerful reminder of the strength of our community and the deep connection that continues long after students graduate.
Our Halachic Chat, led by Rabbi Boshnack, continues to be a tremendous resource as well. The chat is active on a daily basis, with more than 1500 questions asked each year, in addition to the many more questions and conversations handled privately with both Rabbi and Shira.
We are deeply grateful for your support throughout all these years. It is truly remarkable that no other JLIC community has the level of alumni support that exists here in Brooklyn. We are the only JLIC with a community of alumni that continues to show up, stay connected, and give back,and we owe that incredible strength to all of you.
