I'm honored to be part of SPIRIT 2026 -- both as a presenter and as the son of longtime SPIRIT participants.

My parents discovered the OU's SPIRIT program a few years ago and haven't looked back. The weekly sessions have kept them engaged, curious, and connected to a community of people who take Jewish life seriously even after their professional years. The painting workshops, in particular, have been a genuine highlight, something I never would have predicted, and something they talk about with real enthusiasm.

This is a program that works. It reaches people where they are, offers them something substantive, and treats them as the experienced, thoughtful adults they are.
