After Katrina we went to New Orleans. After Harvey we were in Houston. And earlier this month, we were in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

For over a decade, New Jersey NCSY has taken almost thirty groups of teens on our Leadership Chessed Missions all across the country to cities in need. Our established Missions educate our teens about the importance of Chessed and Tikkun Olam. By engaging in meaningful volunteer service, participants learn about the Jewish value of responsibility and helping our fellow human beings in a time of need.

In 2017-2018, New Jersey NCSY facilitated 25 successful JSU clubs in public schools, hosted four public school Shabbatons, sent a full bus to Israel on The Jerusalem Journey (TJJ), and created many meaningful programs for our public school teens throughout the year.

Please ensure more kids become passionate about their Judaism though JSU clubs in public schools, NCSY summer experiences in Israel and Europe, subsidized Chessed Mission trips, and scholarships to NCSY’s Yarchei Kallah, a five-day retreat that gives public school teens the opportunity to learn Torah during their winter break.
