JEWISH STUDENT UNION (JSU) CLUBS

engage and connect Jewish teens in public schools. This year we've expanded into 5 schools across Middle Long Island; Plainview, Syosset HS, Kennedy Bellmore HS, East Meadow HS, and Commack HS.

LATTE & LEARNING and JSU Scoop

Latte & Learning and JSU Scoop are programs where teens get to enjoy the company of their peers, good food, and an interesting discussion on a Jewish topic led by an advisor or staff member. We are proud to announce that we have programs running in three towns: Plainview, Merrick, and Commack!

RELIEF PROJECTS AND TRIPS

JSU has empowered the next generation of Jewish leaders to make a difference in their communities by volunteering with local organizations and going on Service Missions to places like Puerto Rico to help out local communities with disaster relief.

BETTER TOGETHER

In partnership with local synagogues both in the Merrick and Plainview areas, and thanks to a generous grant from the Legacy Heritage Foundation, JSU runs a program which pairs each teenager with a Senior Mentor whom they speak with regularly and do activities relating to Jewish culture and Jewish heritage.

Social Events and Shabbat Programming

NCSY and JSU work to provide Jewish teens with fun and engaging social events where they can meet other Jewish teens and build connections with staff members and advisors.
