What is Yachad? It is so much to so many.

For 40 years, Yachad has been creating a world where every single Jew – regardless of ability – has a place in the community. Through daily inclusion programs, community Shabbatons, integration in summer camps, teen volunteering, and sensitivity training in schools, Yachad is teaching the Jewish Community how to give everyone a place. This is Yachad!

With our 6 divisions comprising of 10 regions around the United States, Canada & Israel, our network of 4 IVDU schools, summer department incorporating 25 inclusion camps, JUF’s day-hab, job training & placement, REACH’s nationwide resource and referral service & Our Way for the deaf community, this is Yachad!

Toronto runs an amazing afternoon social and recreational program, called the “Social Hub” for adults 4 days a week in Thornhill and North York, with in-person programs that include health and wellness, cooking, art, Zumba, exercise, music, and group games. We also run a bowling league on Sunday evenings as well as holiday programs with other organizations and Shuls.

Lastly, on Friday come join our Pre Shabbat Shmooze Zoom program where we connect with friends in Chapters all over the World.

By popular demand we offer a Teen Inclusion Club that offers karate, baking and music and other special programs twice a week with our friends from Tanenbaum CHAT.

But, as always, your help is needed. We have so much more we want to accomplish and provide for the community.
